Update: Plymouth Information, Advice and Support (for SEND) are still delivering some Parenting Programmes virtually, but have resumed delivering some courses face-to-face. We are also accepting applications for future courses.

Plymouth Information, Advice and Support for SEND offer a range of internationally and locally recognised Parenting Programmes that have been shown to work in Plymouth for a wide range of families.

The course you choose will depend on the age of the children:

Please Note: We can only accept applications for families whose postcode come under Plymouth City Council area (Plymouth, Plympton and Plymstock). Check your postcode to find your local council.

Strengthening Families Programme 10-14 UK Course Dates

Note: PIAS hope to resume face-to-face groups from September 2021, dependent on Government guidelines.

Supporting Parents on Kids Education in Schools (SPOKES)

Supporting Parents on Kids Education in Schools (SPOKES) is a free Ready for School programme for children in Key Stage 1. It is a 9 week course where parents can learn skills to support their children and help them become more confident with their listening, talking, reading and writing.

Please note, the online Parenting Programmes applications below are only for Incredible Years and Strengthening Families Programme (SFP).
